A good collaboration starts with clarity.

Shared expectations, small milestones and working demos keep a project moving in the same direction.

Start by describing the problem, the people it affects and what a useful first release should let them do. Capture open questions and decisions in a shared document so everyone can see what is agreed and what still needs work.

Break the project into milestones that can be demonstrated. Each one should make a meaningful part of the product visible, with a clear way to review whether it meets the intended behavior. Regular demos give feedback a place to land while the work is still easy to adjust.

When a new idea appears, discuss how it changes the current plan and record the decision. Keep next steps, responsibilities and dependencies explicit. Finish with the documentation, release notes and walkthrough the team needs to keep building confidently.
